Core Values

Defining Our Purpose

Today.Church Core Values

Remembering what matters most keeps us on track as we follow Jesus together. #lovefirst

We are all about:

Love. Without Love, Nothing Matters.

Love is always worth the risk!

Love never fails!

What does love require of me?

(John 13:34, 1 Corinthians 13:1-7, 16:14, Ephesians 5:1-2, 1 John 4:10)

People. Everything Is An Outreach! Everyone Has A Place!

Sin is the only line we won’t cross to reach more people for Jesus!

It’s about people, not process.

How does this reach new people?

(Ezekiel 34:16, Matthew 9:36-38, Luke 5:32, 19:10, 1 Corinthians 9:22, Colossians 4:5-6)

Relationships. Following Jesus Isn't A Solo Sport!

We need each other. Church is a family!

Life is better together.

Who am I following Jesus with?

(John 13:34, Acts 2:44-47, Ephesians 4:1-8, Hebrews 3:13, 10:24-25)

Mercy. Everyone Deserves Kindness!

Respect is a choice. No matter where you are in life, we are all the least of these!

Forgiven people forgive people!

How would I treat Jesus?

(Matthew 5:7, 25:45, Luke 6:36, 7:47, Romans 12:15, 15:1, Ephesians 4:31-32)

Celebration. Following Jesus Together Is a Blast!

We don’t celebrate stuff. That’s boring. Celebrating people is more fun!

It’s always time for joy!

Who have I celebrated lately?

(John 15:11, Luke 15:10, Romans 14:17, Philippians 2:17-18)

Faith. Impossible Isn’t In Our Vocabulary!

Disciples don’t play it safe. All things are possible.

Jesus makes miracles normal!

Have I told the mountain to move yet?

(Mark 9:23, 11:22-24, Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:1, James 2:14)

Power. Following Jesus Isn’t Normal, It’s Miraculous!

Jesus promised! We seek and expect the power of the Spirit.

Disciples receive spiritual gifts!

Am I asking for more?

(Luke 11:13, Acts 1:8, 2:4, Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11)

Giving. Jesus Followers Are Ridiculously Generous!

You can’t out-give God, but we keep trying!

Jesus gave everything.

Is there more that I can give?

(Luke 6:38, 12:33-34, 1 Corinthians 16:2, 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, 1 John 3:17)

Purpose. Everyone Has Talent And Potential!

You were created to make a difference serving others!

God has a plan and purpose for you!

Who can I serve?

(Luke 8:15, Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 1:6, 1 Peter 4:10)
