Matthew 4:17 (NLT)
From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
Jesus made a big deal out of repentance. The word repent means to change your mind for the better. To repent of sin and turn to God brings real change. That change is the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus preached about.
